Education

  • Ph. D. in Macromolecular Science and Engineering, Case Western Reserve University, 2015
  • M. Sc. in Polymer Engineering, University of Minho, 2010
  • M. Sc. in Engineering Rheology, Catholic University of Louvain, 2009

Research Interests

I use computational means to look at rheology and physics of complex fluids. Shear rheology of dense colloidal suspensions, shear-thickening phenomenon, as well as colloidal gels under flow are some of the topics that I have been working on. My primary research at MIT focuses on the field of flow assurance, and studying the rheology of crude oil.
