Research Interests

I am developing ice-phobic and hydrate-phobic coatings via iCVD for ice and clathrate hydrate adhesion reduction. I have been studying the impact of surface chemistry on the wettability and oil rejection of electrospun mat membranes for water purification. I am also developing CNT/polymer composite materials for microcontact printing applications.

About Me

I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Chemical Engineering Department at MIT with a joint appointment in MechE. Before joining MIT, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Electronics Manufacturing and Reliability Laboratory (EMRL) at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I did my PhD at Georgia Tech, where I received the prestigious Ann Robinson Clough Grant. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, I was CEO and founder of a compressed natural gas (CNG) company.
